Any club or resort using Split Second's software to manage their timing can have their data sent directly to Live-Timing.com, for free!

During the recent winter (07/08), Live-Timing.com

• hosted over 2000 races.
• managed over 120,000 racer results.
• had over 700,000 visitors (sessions).
• had over 20 million page views!

It is used to:

• Schedule upcoming races.
• List entries in a race (before the race).
• Show Real Time data during the timing of the race. This includes who is on course,who has recently finished and all results.
• Display status messages about the race, for example "10 minute break for course repair".
• Show unofficial results and other reports.

Big and Small changes for Live-Timing On the Small side, the entire site is now PDA friendly. So, take your mobile device with you and enjoy pages and options designed specifically for you! The Big change is a new page has been introduced for viewing Live race results. You'll love these improvements: The page no longer does that annoying refresh. It now checks for any changes in the data and just updates the changes. Updates can happen more often. When the 5 second check is selected you'll even see an approximated running time for competitors on course! New results are highlighted in green as soon as they happen. This highlight then fades away to merge the results into the existing data. Added options to allow results to be sorted as needed. -- Geoff Elder Split Second / Live-Timing
